| Deadweight
FAQ |
- When I try to start Deadweight I get a message box stating
that opengl32.dll is missing.
- Are you running Windows95 on your computer? If so,
you need to install openGL support. Microsoft has a
supporting article and download to install openGL on
your computer. Click
this link to go to the Microsoft article. If you
are not running Windows95, let me know and I'll try
to find a solution.
- Things seem to run really slow
- Deadweight tries to make use of your computer's graphics
card to compute all the 2D and 3D model displays. If
the card won't perform the computations, then Deadweight
will use the main processor for these calculation. Using
the processor (no matter how fast) is typically much
slower than the graphics card for this type of work.
A lot of the time, the problem is graphics card's driver
software. As a first shot for improving performance,
try updating your graphics card's driver by visiting
that vendor's website (ATI, nVidia, Intel, 3DLabs, ...)
