OLD NEWS 15 November 2002 (version 0.2.6 - out of beta release) - Version 0.2.6 is available for download. This version has a small set of new features (basically some new Rhino export options.) The major goal of this release is that it is the final release of the 0.2 version line. I will now start working on version 0.3, which requires some major code changes. 25 August 2002 (version 0.2.5) - This version has support for critical points and fixes some bugs that you guys found (thanks). Come and get it. I'm extending my version development period out after this version. Previously I was trying to get an update out in under a month. Now, I will try to get one out every two months. This is because I am going to try and tackle some of the more difficult wishlist topics that I've received or made up myself. Most of these items are going to require me to do a little research. 03 August 2002 (version 0.2.4) - New version available for download!!! Sorry for being a few days late on this one. You may have gotten the little notification screen telling you to get a newer version only to find out I didn't have one. Added some cool new zooming features and finally getting sounding tubes to display. See version history for a list of new features and bug fixes. Just so you know, it took a long time to get this release out because I made a huge amount of changes to my core graphics engine code. Not really anything that you should notice in deadweight, but I made it a lot easier to incorporate future changes with my improved engine. 07 July 2002 (site update) - Just did a little cleaning up of the web site. Let me know if anything looks wrong or you get link errors. 01 July 2002 (version 0.2.3) - New version available for download!!! Cleaned up some of the display items and fixed a few bugs you guys found (thanks). 27 June 2002 (version 0.2.2) - Added a bunch of new features. I'm announcing this version to a larger audience. 12 June 2002 (version 0.2.1) - Most of the updates in this version are fixes for bugs found in the initial beta. I did get some new features in though. You can see what was changed by looking at my version history. 03 June 2002 (Added sample files) - I uploaded a few sample geometry files for testing Deadweight. The models are pretty basic, but they suffice for demonstrating Deadweight's features. 22 May 2002 (Site move and update) - The site is moving to a web hosting server at digital space. It should take a few days for the nameservers on the web to update deadweight to point to the new site location. The original site was being hosted on a machine in our office. I've never used these guys for hosting before so let me know if you have any difficulties with the site. I have also updated the screenshots page with some images of application features. 20 May 2002 (Launch) - Website Launch!! Version 0.2.0 Released OK. So its not all put together, but its a start. Go to the downloads to get the initial beta for Deadweight.
