I have been involved in a large number of Naval Architectural projects while working with Fisker-Andersen & Whalen. The types of projects have ranged from design to stability calculation to custom onboard loading applications. Below are a few samples of projects that I have been involved with.
FERRIES - Structural design for a car / passenger ferry servicing island community in Alaska. Developed preliminary renderings to assist in design process and address any possible clearance problems (shown at right).
Fisker-Andersen & Whalen has designed a large number of high-speed deck cargo barges over the years. Specialized designs have included combination rail-car/container barges where containers are supported by high strength racks over rail-cars.
I have been involved in several designs and repowerings of commercial tug boats.
